The U.S. Airport and Seaport Police Office of Intergovernmental affairs is located in Washington, D.C.

Duties of the office include legislative budgets and funding, regulatory and operational issues affecting law enforcement and public safety for public airport and seaport authorities working with the U.S. Congress, U.S. Department of Justice and Homeland Security.

If you are going to be visiting Washington, D.C. to meet with a Member of Congress or an agency we will brief you on our current issues and assist you with your issues.  If time permits we are ready to accompany you on your appointment.

The Congress of the United States is divided into two chambers: The Lower Chamber - The House of Representatives and the Upper Chamber - The Senate

Each of the 50 states have two Senators which are elected for a period of six years, of which on-third of the Senate is up for election every two years.

Each state have congressional districts, which are apportioned based on the states population (about 600,000 constituents per Member). At the present the number of Representatives is limited to a fix number of 435 Members Each Member of the House of Representatives (often referred to as Member of Congress) is elected for a two year term and all Members of the House of Representatives are up for election every two years.
